PROCESS

The process begins with analog media sources such as video tapes, video reels, audio cassette tapes and paper photos. Video and audio tapes are played back using an audio/video player while paper photos are scanned. The output from the audio/video player undergoes analog-to-digital conversion, transforming it into digital formats like MOV, MP4, and MP3. Meanwhile, the output from a photo scanner is a JPEG, PDF or TIFF file.

Once digitized, the files are sent for AI processing, where insights such as transcripts, synopses, people and places, and facial recognition data are extracted. The extracted metadata is then stored in a structured format within a metadata storage system. Simultaneously, the digitized video, audio and photo, along with their associated metadata, are stored in cloud storage solution.

The m-box Digital Assets Management System acts as the central hub, managing and organizing these assets while interfacing with both the cloud storage and the metadata database. Finally, users can access and interact with the stored assets through the m-box system, enabling efficient retrieval and management of digital content.

SOFTWARE
